Lightly flushed cheeks are perfect for the season. I mixed together Rose Desire and Fresh Peach, both of which are from Laura Mercier's Lingerie Eye & Cheek Limited Edition Eye & Cheek Palette. The colors from this palette are all so pretty! They're mostly soft shimmers that give the face a sun-kissed glow.

Another makeup trend this season is vampy lips. Prince Noir by MAC, released from their Mac Me Over Collection last 2011, is clearly still handy during spring/summer 2012. It's a deep blackened-plum color which gives a more vampy pout than dark red lipstick. It is actually darker compared to these shots because for this particular look I used MAC Glitter & Ice Dazzleglass on top, a beige-tinted gloss with white and gold pearl, which slightly mutes the darkness of Prince Noir and creates more of a deep purple color.
