Let Your Hair Down

It's been said that starting the (Chinese) Lunar New Year with a new haircut brings good luck; Last week, I went to Bench Fix to get a trim for my ends and a fringe! This was perfect because I didn’t want to lose the length of my hair, but it’s still quite a transformation from my previous hairstyle.  I’ll have it colored soon enough for the completion of this new look!

Since we’re talking about hair, here are a few products that I’d like to share that’ll help you keep your locks healthy and shiny.

• Kerastase Nutritive Oleo-Relax Leave-In - This leave-in is just a component of a 3-step regimen from Kerastase. It works best all together but this also works wonders even by itself. Infused with nourishing ingredients, it controls volume and provides smoothness and long-lasting frizz protection –leaves hair glossy and smooth.

• Coppola Keratin Complex Infusion Therapy Shine - Also comes from a wide range of hair care products, this shine-infusing serum is packed with precious oils and keratin protein making it a more conditioning formula for dry, damaged hair. Plus, it gives hair silky protection before blow-drying and hot-ironing. I don’t use this daily, only when my hair feels dried out because even just a small amount goes a long way.

• L’Oreal Paris Crystal Gloss Tecni Art - This spray is lovely for any hair type. I'm not a fan of hairsprays that are made to hold your hair into place because they tend to make hair look and feel dull with no movement. This one is nothing like your average hairspray, rather it's a light finishing spray that leaves hair vibrant with long-lasting shine. Another good thing about it is it contains anti-humidity and anti-frizz protection; it still keeps the hair in place but allows it to move naturally.

• L’Oreal Paris Aqua Sleek Texture Expert - This essence, described as “sleek and airy”, is used for blow-drying or styling if you desire a soft finish. Another product that helps achieve natural hair movement even after styling. It protects the hair from heat as well as repairs the hair fibers with pearl protein and Vitamin E.
